Yeah, but MCN is the Daily Mail of the motorcycle world, they like to scare people. Not saying we shouldn't keep an eye out for ******** legislation by idiot burocrats who havn't the first clue about bikes and the people who ride them, but I personally never worry too much about what the weekly rag prints.

I read that article and it was rubbish. It was full of inaccuracies and he couldn't seem to remember if he was writing about a Tuoldo, Newuono, Factory, R or what.

Totally agree. Typical MCN bilge. Mind you I still buy it quite often, just can't resist anything with pictures of bikes on the cover....

Its the same right up they did abowt four years ago on the bikes , they have just tweaked it it and reyousd it , MCN is a comick , they are like Kids iff they carnt get on somethin and ride it lazaley they slate it off we knoe its not a bike for the massis , its a riders bike that once you get to now it its adicktive , I lernt my lesen once , and never shoud have sold my old one , I am lovin the new one ,it ticks all the boxes . they are a grate allrownd bike ,

track days
touring
crousing
its a handfull in the twistys ,and that makes me smile all day long . but it is a bike you need to get at least 6000 miles on , under your belt to apreyshate it properley

All mags are ****. Especially **** mags, but that's a given.

I read an article years ago in Sea Angling magazine about a codding trip in the Clyde. It sounded great ... everybody caught fish. Fish stocks were showing signs of recovery. All very positive.

2 months later I went out on that same boat ... fishing over the same ground. The skipper told me that the journos had tipped up with loads of freebies, loads of posh kit ... and nobody caught so much as a ******* cold all day. The photos were ones supplied by the skipper covering umpteen other trips and made to look as if it was all on the day.

Used to buy the sea angling mag, was looking through some old ones before I threw them out. All the country wide catch reports read the same year in year out. Whit a load of utter pish, as for the bike press there worse than *****.
