Just picked up today's MCN, comparing the Tuono against the new super duke and the triumph speed triple....guess which bike won?! You guessed the Tuono. Feeling rather smug as I picked up my new bike 2 months ago. Happy days. MCN worth a read this week....

Great choice mucker. :yes

I don't read the mcn anymore, but I'm sure it used to be that in a head to head wae a trumpet nothing would beat it.

Good to hear they might be starting to give a truer appraisals of machines. :thumbup

Mucker, someone posted a vid of that mcn report today.

2 of the fellas I regularly ride with have the new Superduke Rs, its a pain keep pulling over to wait for them to catch up! Rob

Just watched the tube vid, makes a change for MCN to give a true review.
Well done them & the V4

But the Tuono is not really a naked , it has a screen WTF.

Some people just cannot say they have the perfect machine .

I`ve had lots of different bikes and have never had the same one twice

EXCEPT...................THE TUONO

I am on my 3rd "T"

Surely they know it doesn't come with the tall screen!

I agree I never had the same bike twice, however i have owned two Tuonos a Racing 03 and an 05 Factory 1st gens, and my current Tuono V4.
I am 46 going on 26.

Yes. Saw that it was the deciding factor for me. For a while I was torn between v4 and s1000r.

It helped me make up my mind too.. I never rode an Aprilia before and just bought it blindly. I did ride the others with the exception of the KTM, and it definitely beats them for sure. Even if the Kato edged it out the dealer support is much worse than Aprilia's.
