Not sure which one of you mob has nominated me as Britains Best Bike Meet but cheers for the thought. Have just had delivered about 1000 beermats & 50 A3 posters.

However thinking about it it might not be a bad idea if some of you went online & gave me a vote. If I get some kind od PR out of the excercise I might get a few more of those bikes stopping in for a coffee or something to eat when they pass my doorstep every weekend.

Check out the MCN website www.motorcyclenews.com/bikemeetbritain

Only joking I'm sure I still owe you for all the red wine I don't remember drinking :thumbup

just because I do it for a living, doesn't necessarily mean I'm any good at it. (Look at David Cameron, Tony Blair, etc etc. Most people in management positions.) Can still get pissed on 6 pints.

I know the feeling.................

Just contemplating what I should do with the new one. Thought I'd be able to swop over the Ohlins Bling & sell on as an R for similar money paid but that aint going to happen as the R came with Ohlins front shocks as standard & dont think T's are a straight swop. Shall probably require replacement Yokes which is unwanted expense plus fitting etc etc will add to the cost, so think I shall break it over the winter after I've had all the bits I want. Question is now that I've insured it do I Tax it & use for what little summer we have left or cancel the Insurance & start breaking it straight away without spending any money on it. My love affair is with Mrs T, Not Mrs Mille.

Decision made. Just cancelled the Insurance & the spanners come out this afternoon. So Ash sorry you wont be able to use on Sunday. Wheels will probably be off by then. The brake calipers certainly will.

Mick I'm not sure about this but, I think the whole front end will fit complete without changing anything. use the RSV Yokes and change the whole lot. Just means you would have to fit some bar mounts, try Nob or Batfastard for more info, also I think I remember reading about a detailed thread on making a T out of an RSV, that may be easier than just trying to cannibalise assorted bits, you could end up with a shed full of bits and a big headache.
I think the wheels are slightly different to the T, but you could swap the swinger, again complete swap, just leave things as they are at the moment and speak to Griff about it. I can't help thinking that you would have been better off swapping your T for a factory T.
See ya Sunday.

As I was saying b4 my computer rudely crashed. What fettling would I be able to do if I simply bought a factory. Not over keen on anodised frames as well.

Got all the clothes off the RSVR tody & underneath I must say I quite like what I see. She just needs some TLC & a bit of a clean up around the cockpit area switchgear & levers to get up to my standard of shinyness. So may keep after all. Dody back street Manc has done a few bodge repairs to fairing panels & lugs.

Could do with a new nose cone as fairing lugs are being held on by what looks like liquid rubber or silicone filler??? & Indicator isn't perfect either. Would then get back to a standard I'd be happy with. Hopefully nob will be here on ||Sunday I can speak to him then.

Fitted RSVR seat cowl & new seat cover to T & contemplated spraying Rad Guards red. What d'ya think.
