My mille has the Matt black paint scheme. What's the best way to look after this. Someone has suggested a small amount of screen wash in the water but I'm not sure on this. At the moment I'm thinking of fairy liquid so any suggestions would be appreciated.

+1 you may as well just chuck it in the sea if your going to use washing up liquid
Use autoglym bodywork shampoo & conditioner then chamois leather dry. What ever you do don't polish it or it will turn gloss :biggrin

I use "Silicone Shine" on my matte plastic.
Brings it up a treat, turns faded-dark-grey to solid black again, and even smells lovely.
If you use too much it shows fingerprints like a ******* though.
