I'm on holiday for a couple of weeks and I have decided to sort my mancave out, don't know where to start and has anyone seen my Makita compressor.

Nice CR takes me back a few years racing at Bevercotes happy days.

2300, it is a 91 Evo, not mine i am afraid, the lad who owns has spent close to £3000 on her. and now he wants to sell her he will be lucky if he gets £2100 for her.

New top end
New power valve
New (Honda) gear box internals
New exhaust
New Radiators
New Silicone hoses
New ali wheels with stainless spokes (Central wheels Birmingham)
Frame powder coated
Decals
loads of receipts

not even run in yet first tank of fuel, with a bit extra 2T in it.
seat cover
EVERY BEARING ON THE BIKE

Bevercotes, spent a lot of time on that hillside, i only live 2 miles away, and you ride off road most of that, you want to try throwing an XT500 around there :)

Nice bike, but putting extra two stroke oil in doesn't help,in fact what it does is leans the petrol mixture and making it more likely to run hot and seize

Blade,
when i say extra i dont mean a lot, i mean just over the 5 litre line on the pre mix dispenser. I was always a fan of Auto-lube, as long as you set the pump correctly, the RD was brilliant

RD hmm there's a blast from the past :thumbup yes you don't need any extra oil it will be fine on its recommended % I always liked the premix cause you know the oil is there with the fuel, when they raced the older two strokes they would usually ditch the oil pump and run premix after jetting it to do so
