Nearly finished my Tuono 2006 project just a couple more bits needed.

Can anyone tell me if the main electrical plug for the dash has any rubber or plastic cover ?
I am going with a non-standard headlight unit so the plug will be on show and open to all the elements

Thanks r101

Not sure as all the wires are hidden from view. I'd wrap it anyway to ake it look tidy & give it some weather protection.

No rubber, or plastic covers.

The plug (which is technically a socket) inserts into the rear of the clock assy and is 'driven' into situ by a small locating lever. This avoids bending the connector pins back up into the clock, and also locks the plug into place.

You will need to cover the connection with some sort of shroud to keep the elements out.
