Hi guys, anyone know what is classed as a low mileage on a gen 1 tuono? Thinking of selling mine but not sure if the low mileage makes a difference? Cheers, Steve

It depends though... 7k on the back wheel and only 5k on the front could mean the bikes had a relatively hard time, so I always check how many miles the front tyre has done. So it really depends how many front tires have been fitted! One tyre is very very-low. 2 is v-low. 3 is low, and 4 is about average! (cough).

Mines registered 2003 and just over 4000 guess that's low then. I blame the weather lol

Seriously... not sure of the trade definition for bikes, but I recon anything below 2k per year (<26k for a 2003 bike) is low miles. So less than 13k miles is definately low.

But are you serious?

First you said yours was 9 (9k?), which was presumably a joke. Now it's down to 4k, so it sounds like you are riding a time machine. Now Tuono's are fast... but not that fast. Then... your name implies you are messing with our minds, mate! :crazy

Low or High miles,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,what the fukk it's a machine.

Pay yer dosh and take yer chances.

Valuation,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,aye it must be worth somethin but then again it's fookin ancient.

Just read the ALL the above posts,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,fukk off ya ******.

Mine has 21k on it now of which I've done 14k, it seems to get better with age. Might need the throttle bodies done again though.

Can't believe people who buy bikes then don't ride em ? Beats me! My 09 just over 12k ? Perhaps I need to get out more!

07 Tuono 10k, 09 R1 5k. Had a good year on them did 1000 miles on both bikes!!!
I always work on around 2k to 4k a year as average Had the Tuono part ex valued and the dealer based the valuation on 20k for a 2007 bike.

my 07 has 12k... just bought it though and will probably double that number in a couple of years =)

A few years ago I was talking to an Aprilia dealer about part ex on my 3 year old fireblade (for a Mille) until I told him it had 27K on it at which point he told me to sell it privately and come back with cash.

Needless to say never went back but when I next passed the place it was closed up.

I thought someone was taking the piss by saying 7 was a low number so I made a joke about the number 9. I didn't realise they meant 9k or 7k I guess I'm used to more sensible answers off other sites lol. But yeah mine is a 2003 with just over 4000 miles on it. I bought it with low miles and didn't put many more on it due to work, family and health problems.
