Does anyone know how to lower a 2000 RSV R by 2 to 3 inches??? Any assistance or direction to other resources would be appreciated.

Why would you want to lower it? Is it a short leg problem? 2 to 3 inches is asking a lot to lower the bike by !

If the problem is short legs maybe you could get some adjustable rearsets? If you actually need a lower riding position then the shocker can be shortened with the nut at the bottom (I think):thumbup. I took this snap of my 02 model

Yeah, I'm afraid the scooter wheels would affect my top end...

I'm 5'-5" and have a problem reaching. The rear shock has a racing spring now and is set for a 220 lb, 5'-10" person. My main concern is maintaining geometry. HELP!!!

Well firstly get the rear spring changed for one that is correct for your weight. Then have the rear shock adjusted and set up correctly and you'll probably find it's problem solved
