Well i took the bike out on this sunny day this afternoon and ended up at avondale honda in northampton, i just stopped off for a coffee and a break. No second hand bikes outside so i went inside to grab a coffee and this black honda just stopped me in my tracks :eek: The 2008 fireblade :eek: well i couldn't leave without having sit on it so i did and i must admit i fell in love with it :roll looking outside at the mille i felt i was being selfish and should be more than happy with what ive got but boy the blade is one hell of a nice looker :roll
So i am very tempted to go for the blade but.................. i will be keeping the mille as a part ex deal just wont do it justice .

I wont be buying the blade just yet or make my mind up till ive had a test ride, the price is too steep at the min so im going to wait a while for the prices to come down :jack Nothing against the mille but i will be holding onto her as its one awsome bike but the blade has reeled me in just now and ill have to test it :roll:thumbup

Yeah i dont know if this is the 08 cos the one i sat on was the low stubby exhaust one :dunno

Funny enough,

I went into the Shrewsbury Honda Centre today, and they've got a white one,a black one and a red/black one, I can't decide if I like them or not!:dunno, I think if I had to have one it would be the Black one, just can't decide if I like that front end?:confused, which is weird really because new bikes you just automatically lust after, I suppose time will tell in the sales figures.

If I was a diehard Fireblade rider I would really have to think about buying this new one!

Sorry to go on abit about this, but I used to have a Fireblade and I really wonder if Honda have done the right thing:rant
 
Compairing the o8 to the o7 i would go 07, i know what you mean about the 08 especially the exhaust :roll ill be on the lookie for an 07 test ride first.
 
I do like the look of the 08 Fireblade especially the white one, it's much better than the 04 to 07 bike. I would never buy one though, far far too small, gay and characterless.

Your're right there LEGS, one was parked by a CBR600RR, and I swear the 600 looked BIGGER!!!:eek:

Makes you wonder how much smaller they might go
 
Well i wont be getting one i'd make it look like a 125 being 6'3, steve i'm disappointed to be honest:dunno

I've seen a couple of pictures with me on the bike and i swear it was bigger than that! haha but your right it was one of the reasons for choosing the mille the main reasons were looks and noise but somewhere in there was size:devious
