Hey guys.
Just want to make sure. My bike's not ready for season yet. Just ½ an hour ago i drained the oil, including the oil in the oilfilter housing.
While she stod there bleeding... BANG, the bike touched the ground - hard, it tipped and i inspected the damage while trying to clean up 3 litres of oil floating on the ground..
I noticed the clutch lever had broke, and i tried pulling it - no resistance at all. I'm a bit nervous that this ain't normal, and has been caused by the drop. Still, the fluid in the reservoir rises when the lever is pulled. I checked for leaks, but it was dark so i couldn't get a full vision of the clutch system, feeling with my hands i couldn't find any leaks as it seems.
Or is this normal when the engine has been drained for oil?
