losing pressure

so check tyre pressure before ride 36 happy ....after 40 miles front feels vague in slow bends ok blasting..gets home check pressure ..23 psi..24 hrs later still 23..happened last ride too down to 16 ...checked valve no leak and just put soapy water all over tyre ,no bubbles..bamboozled ..gonna chuck some tyre weld in i think ..mmmm ????

Fit a metal dust cap with a proper sealing washer in it and or replace the valve,sometimes the centrifugal force will open the valve :thumbup
 
Blade is right. It will only go down when the wheel is spinning fast.

Change the valve internals and fit a good cap with a seal.

Have you hit any potholes recently, maybe check the wheel rim for damage. Even a small flat will cause the bead to leak while riding on our bumpy roads.
Failing that at least replace the valve instead of putting tyre weld in as that will throw the balance out. I hope you find the problem.
 
Try fitting new valve internals first, see if that stops the loss.

Most tyre fitting joints will do it nae probs fir pennies.
