Loose top cap.

Since I changed my steering head bearings the top yolk cap bolt keeps working loose. The torque setting is 80 nm but is still keeps coming loose. Any ideas?:dunno

Worn threads maybe :dunno have you tried using threadlock ?

isn't the correct torque setting 100nm?

Close but no cigar. 100nm is for the 01 on wards with the drilled top cap. 80nm is for the "solid" caps of 98-00

Hi Sabre,have you tried loosening the top yoke bolts,just to sure its sitting down flat
