hi guys ,ok so i jumped in too quick buying my 02 rsvr troy corsa edition mille and although i do like it ,its just not the best one ive seen and needs a good bit of tlc. it goes great and never fails to start i just want a propper minter with mega low miles full service history and loads of goodies fitted would be nice. also 1 owner bike would be great if poss. and dont want your old track bike either please . so its a case of name your price and ill tell you if your a dick or not lol ,i will pay good money for the best thats out there . and guys please no crashed rebuilds or 3 bikes to make 1 ebay specials .

i do like the troy corsa matt black model but show me what you got .must be like new and minted no marks chips cracks scores dents scrapes leaks and engine needs to be perfect no rattles chatters clatters and start like it should thanks guys .

I got a 1 owner mint 04 RSVR last of the gen 1s, 12k miles but it's not for sale :biggrin
 
i know someone with a very very clean yellow rsvr..radial brake model etc buts its way down in kent ...he offered it to me last week but not in a position to buy another bike..reason he's selling is he just bought a 2200 miler edwards rep
i can pass on your number if required.

looks nice nik mate love the front discs . looks almost as nice as the one ive got ,dont mean that in a bad way mate i like the plane look as in less decals also matt finish i think looks more of a bad boy look. my old 2000 mille was nice gloss paint and it does look stunning i know but since ive had my matt paint bike its grown on me and i do like the look as im a bit of a dull old ****** at 48 lol . what kind of cash is your bike worth if you did want to sell it ?

Nice looking bike :thumbup yeah I like the matt black look aswell, it's coming back into fashon. saw a spanking new matt black R1 & an RC8 at the weekend.
I recon mine's worth between 3 & 3.5K if you can find someone willing to part with the cash :roll trouble is you can get a gen2 factory for the same money :dunno
 
yeah i guess so nik but gen 2`s dont have the same bad *** look do they and the front end looks pants :pukelol , better for short arse folks i just like the the gen 1 style thats why im after as good as i can get ,not to fussed about the price as long as its mint and not over the top crazy price either lol ,i paid 2500 for mine but its jus not mint .i could spend loads on it to get it perfect but would rather have a low mileage bike to start with and full service history .i was just to keen buying mine then found out im the 9th owner :eek:lol .but its a cracking bike still but ive got some spare cash comming and im after a real nice one this time so and i can sell mine so it wont be to sore on my pocket . i thought about the rsv 4 but its to small for me its like sitting on a R6 no good to me lol. must be the gen 1 :inlovenothing else will do .:thumbup
 
ive got an 08 bol dor ltd edition. Im thinking of turning in to a tuono? but if i get the right money im prepared to sell. aky pipes ohline suspension 14 on clock im second owner and had it for nearly 2 years now cracking bike.
 
I think the 2nd gen models are starting to look dated, whereas the original one has a timeless quality about it. It's a proper shape bike!! Funnily enough, I wasn't that keen on it when it came out, and I thought the 2nd gen looked amazing!... Likewise I think 999s look really great now, and the '02 R1 in silver has lost all of it's original appeal, but that's how real classics are born.

Anyway, it seems many more of the 'base' models turn up in mint condition, like this one;

You could swap the swanky bits from your '02, servicing the shock & forks etc as you go, and you'd have a very nice bike plus 1 to sell to recoup some of the initial outlay. I was tempted but in the end just couldn't justify it.....

aye thats a nice mint bike for sure but its silver and looks plain jane not what im after .now ive started looking for a good gen 2 .but i think i will need to hold on to my 02 mille R for those real sexy fun days in the sun with the balls hanging out ,if we ever get any "sun" that is lol. i think the gen 1`s seem to have a better following as a propper raw type of machine a real mans bike if you know what i mean lol (not for girls lol) plus what other bike has the balls out look like the gen 1`s and the mille R just looks super sexy from the back dont you think :)
