im looking to buy a lowish mileage tuono for between £2500 and £2800 .i have no idea what to watch out for , if anything needs checking etc . please any advice would be greatly recieved .im looking at a 2003 model for £2700 with 19000 on the clock, the pictures look good but apparently the tacho has an intermitent fault and the needle jiggles about . i was told this is a common fault and just needs a new sensor ??????:

Dont know about the rev counter fault.If its a common issue and just needs a new sensor,...why hasnt the seller fixed it?
I would walk away and find a bike with no faults,there are plenty about.

I never had that fault on mine, nor do I know anyone else with that fault including Griff Wooley.
thanks for the advice ive walked away from it , had another look around and am now the proud owner of an imaculate 2003 in red with service history with 19000 on the clock for £2250.pick her up on saturday........cant bloomin wait :cheers
