aye yer right there Aldo min...a FudFest kin fairly rack up the miles......it never feels long tho....probs cos its all jist a blur.

Anyroads...theres a loon frae Oz whos jist joined up wi the TW whos recently drove his newly purchased Tuono a mere 5000Kilometres frae the sellers gaff back tae his hame. Did it ower the course o a few days apparently.

Noo thats a ride an a half

biggest pain on the long milages is the hit tae yer wallet wi the countless T fuel stops

Is it about 100 miles to a tank, on the gen 1 T ? any fuel low light or owt?

fD, a dunno aboot the gen1 but the gen2 can huv the fuel light on fae 80-100+ but a've heard some dudes sayin they can get the light on at 70 odd.

Depends on how yer ridin it.

FD min...fill yer tank an git yersel oot there an find oot

I seem to get a bit more to a tank than most (queue 'Speed up you slow ****').

Normally get about 110-120 before the light comes on, so yes there is a low fuel light :)

S, bay reckons yer freewheelin to much. :thumbup

Dis a 350 miler last year was glad to see the back of the last 100miles. yet first ride out last week and arse was aching after less than 80miles.

I usually do around 150 mile round trips when I'm out on my own, takes about 50 to get into the groove I think. Did 6000miles last year on Mrs T.

Aye A, he's always on me case for something **** I'm doing :thumbup

S jist tell him to stop lettin his Mrs dress him.

Sorry you lot but here in Aus those distances you guys are talking about, are like a quick run to the shops.........

I understand you guys measure distances on how big the case of beer required to get you there is. ie it's a 12 pack or a 24 case.

But we do have bends & hills.

If I have a good run out, the lakes etc, normally do 200 miles. I've done this run on many bikes, the best being a Fazer1000 & the T. Worst a 954 blade, bloody hard seat.
I did the TT yrs ago on an old YR5 yam no problem, but then I was only 19
