Want To Buy Longer/modded gen 2 Side stand

Hi guys

After having the bike 5 mins i'm sure in saying that i'm unhappy with the side stand. I hav read the threads about Fireblade stands etc.

Does anyone have a longer or modded side stand which would be a straight swap for my Gen 2?

the part number for an 07 cbr1000rr sidestand is 50530-mel-000, they do come up on ebay, i managed to get mine brand new in the original bag for Â£9.99 so they are out there

Thanks CTD. I did have a quick look on the bay yesterday for a blade stand but could not find anything. I'll keep my eyes open over the next few weeks.

You could try looking out for a USA / Canadian Aprilia one.... Much better than the POS one we get - its longer and at a different angle. (You need the bracket too)
