change the gearing...?
ditch your airbox...?
Or, it's an RSV, it's wonderful anyway... spend your money on a track day.

I'd recommend you buy the air box and spend the rest on cakes for your riding buddies. :devious

cheap beer and hookers ;) or cheap hookers and beer ............ :devious
always happy to help :thumbup

but in all seriousness .................... gearing and airbox

danglee :thumbup

Thats where mine would go to, if the bike handles it is worth 20hp, you wont get any tuning for £200 that will give you 20bhp:biggrin

Thats a very good point there Badger/Danglebaals so I think I might just do that :)

Id go for the suspension first then a PC3 custom mapped but if your planning any zorste airbox changes in the near future do that before the custom map (not for more HP just to get a smoother throttle)

£200 would buy you a suspension setup and something else, Maybe a slave or a s/h damoper off ebay etc

Kiwi, I agree with all the suspension tune up comments. in fact, if you go to Griff you'll have a lot left over from your dosh.

Not sure what the MPL gives you. I fitted one and apart from easier lever travel there's nothing noticeable, (I already had the 40 jet fitted).

Mpl is purely bling and better/lighter feel.

I thought it was much better than oem personally especially around town but it is essentially asthestic for the most part.

The MPL c/s definately made for a lighter & smoother feel over the oem unit IMO :thumbup
My tune choice would be the suspension..as Badger said if it handles then its a faster & easier ride all round.
Bear, The PC 3 i fitted with a custom map on the dyno improved throttle & torque response quite remarkably

Before I bought it the Ohlins (front & back) were overhauled by Kais (receipts & serial numbers)
16/44 gearing (Renthal + Renthal chain 525)
Dr Rossi chip
Open half airbox, Hooked version to come
Termi end can
#44 Oil jet
Loom mods

Missing from bike is the steering damper and I have an MPL (esk) slave on order

Quite a bit then, going by that lot i would do suspension and a bit of setting up with some dyno runs, yer £200 should cover that:thumbup

Hi

You have to get the KIT of HOOKED, the RSV handles well enough if you set it right, besides, with the airbox mod its sounds like your rising FASTER anyway!!

Your the man HOOKED, GREAT KIT :thumbup:thumbup

Cheers Pete

PS: Can I have me rebate on the kit now!! :devious
