I have had my bike in bits (big bits) over the winter refreshing the fairings and giving it a good clean, I finished assembly over the weekend and plan to take her for an MOT Saturday...

I tried the lights tonight and seem to have some trouble.

The bulbs are H7 x 2 for the top two lights and the same for the single main bulb. The issue I have is that when I power up the bike my top left light (looking from the front) is on, the top right is off.

Push the main beam button and the right light comes on and the left light goes off...

Question is do the H7 have dual filaments, so maybe they have failed (both Main and Full beam) or do I have more trouble.

Looking at the electrical menu the blue and white wires are for the top bulbs and the blue-black is for the bottom

Any ideas or am I having a blonde Tuesday night moment :eek:h

Swap the bulbs over. If the peculiar symptoms move with 'em it's new bulbs you need. If not, errr, I don't know.:dowhat

you sure you have the connectors the right way round?....... maybe time to double check ?

Well used my multimeter last night and got some confusing results Doh...

I will have another go tonight, trouble is you cant see the light in the bulb because they are so bright !.... Must be blown bulbs, need to find a pound shop to get some cheapies (Just in Case :D)
