has anybody got or had stubby levers from busters motorcycle accessories at £69.99 + £5.50p+p on ebay sounds ok but are they anygood. or the traktech ones about the same price :thumbup:thumbdown

I got a pair of the copies on my T and this is the 3rd bike that I have had them on and no worries on my zrx I did 8k on them with no problems every now and then I'd regrease them with some red grease but other than that no worries the ones on my T are the shorties (I prefer the longer type) but they might change my mind after a few runs....

I've got CRG shorties, and love 'em.
The clutch one got damaged when the bike got blown over year before last, just ordered the damaged part of the lever, about £20...and they're back to as good as new.

thanks for the feedback lads, what sort of price are the crg shorties tifa,i would buy the copies rexr but to many bad peports on them but like you said no probs with yours.

I think they are iro £110 if I remember correctly.
I will not buy anything chinese if I can avoid it. The Crg's are more expensive, but consider this:
you're not putting tat on your pride & joy
they come with a proper guarantee and liability insurance
you are not supporting copyright theft
parts are available which also means that
you can buy the component to make them fit ANY bike you own in the future
they always command a high price on fleabay, so when you're done with bikes you will recover most of your money
cheap copies can spoil your bike and mark you out as a pikey
and finally, replacing a brembo lever with a chinese lever is a backward step imho

but that's just me innit?

Naw T, even this pikey fud has the ASV's on his machine. Whit a wid say is that consider a full length clutch lever over the shorty unless yer've got very small hands, A've got to lift the remaining digits off the grip when using the clutch. The brake only needs one finger to lock it up and yer don't need tae take the others aff the grip.

Jist mo, but yer only get whit yer pay fir.

That's a good point Al, I have tried a full length one on the clutch side, like you mentioned there. I took it off the Hornet, it looked kinda wierd, but in fairness worked ok. Trouble was, it I'd have left it that way, i'd have ended up with a shortie clutch & a full length brake on the Honda..

Anyhooos, now that I have my new all singing all dancing german clutch slave cyl, the short lever is no longer a problem, I can now operate it with one finger.

NOT!

I have Chinese levers but only because my Brother in law bought them for me after using the same version on his own bike for the last year.

Almost everything is now made in china even stuff advertised as uk made is manufactured in china and assembled here ,the issue is not quality its quality control as you have to check everything to make sure the factories have not strayed from the design brief

thanks again lads i think i will have to go with a make ie CRG /ASV just for piece of mind anybody got any to sell black if pos if not have to look for a good deal on tinternet.

Are the levers ie ASV/TITAX shorties the same fit for the tuono R and the factory or is there a difference. mine is the factory are the ones i need titax LBK 13A / RBK13A or ASV BRC555-S / CRC555-S

Well I don't have direct fitment experiences but I was told that is the same lever fitment on ALL tuono generations (and DD and Shivers)
But I will bow to greater knowledge
