Does anyone have any knowledge about LeoVince SBK Oval EVO 2? Is there more different types of headers diameter and what are diameters of those headers? Also pipe for that system... Inlet and exit diameters? Thanks for any help. Simply can't find information on the internet [emoji2357]
But know big question... 2-2 or 2-1 system for Tuono gen1? I have now 2-2 (Tuono 2 original headers and some restored presumably Leo pipes). I got as a gift Leo SBK Titanium pipe and today headers for that pipe. They are both new and now I am not sure... Leave it as it is 2-2 or switch back to 2-1? That is why I need dimensions. If I have something normal ok. But if that 2-1 is something bigger, race spec... I should maybe go for 2-1? And do I need to make bypases on those 2-1 if they are race spec? Thanks for any help you can give[emoji3577][emoji256]

Hi.

For the gen1 engine same as the gen2 there is an advantage of a 2-2 system of marginally more power. This is however with added weight but there is a proven increase of a 2-2 system over a 2-1 but as I said it is marginal.
You can however modify the collector on a gen1 and get virtually the same gains as a 2-2 system.
It's subjective as to if you prefer the looks of a 2-1 or a 2-2 but effectively you can use either.

As for big bore systems. You should contact Konstantin at Smaltmoto as he has built and raced with his own systems and still carries on development today with these. He was using a 60mm bore but I believe may of upped spec to a 65mm bore for the pipes. I would say however that since they are mild steel systems they corrode compared to Stainless or Titanium but for outright power Smaltmoto seem to offer more than Akrapovic but the quality isn't as good. I've a Smaltmoto system on a gen2 and it made a big increase to my big bore engine and whilst it's not the prettiest system it certainly gave more power than even the Akrapovic Evo 6 could.

Good luck

Thanks for this writing. I had 2-1 with 2 bypases and it was good but now have 2-2 on my bike. I have everything from gen 2 and open pipes - presumably LeoVince. Open air boot (old Mille), KN, removed plastic ring under KN, gen2 headers, link pipes and exhausts that fit on serial gen2 headers, iridium spark plugs, pin 16, Gabro chip for all that, oberon slave clutch cylinder, racetorx gear shift stabilizer, 16-44, brembo sbk brake pads and some other stuf... I have 57's and open airbox evo 1 kit waiting to be installed. I got LeoVince SBK Titanium 2-1 complete system on the side (can you believe it is completely new!?) . That is only reason why I'm askimg. Only next step is 1060 or 1103 depending on road reliability and durability. As far as I understood I can go 1103 no problem about reliability and durability.

Either 1060 or 1103 are great. I wouldn't say I've seen big increase of the 1103 to the 1060. And in some cases 1060's producing more.
Does the 1103 use steel liners for the bores like a 1127?
If it were me I'd stick with a 2-2 to get rid of the gas but I must admit a brand new Leo Vince SBK is a tempting proposition.

1060 in the U.K. For me has been 100% reliable. Which is why I went for that and not the 1103 as here some have had issues or produced low power figures compared to my 1060. The gen2 responds better to a big bore than a gen1 because of the better designed heads and larger valves. So you will always be a few horsepower shy of a gen2 of similar stats.
But there isn't much in it and it's only on a race track do you see the gen2 can pull away as they do keep going in the top of the rev range. For road you can't really see it.
