Hello Everyone! I just purchased a brand new, left over 2009 Tuono today. Which I got a great deal on. I am looking to buy some Leo Vince SBK OVAL EVOII ALUMINUM cans for it and I just had a couple quick questions. Leo Vince suggests that these slip ons will work excellent without remapping. Is this true? Will it void my warranty if I don't remap? what steps are involved in taking out the quiet insert? (I am praying there are no rivets, I hate rivets.)

Thank you for your help.

i had some leo vince cans on another bike and have to say for the price they were not the best quality, have you considered other options?

You would probably be OK with the standard mapping as long as you kept the quiet inserts in. If you remove them, you would be running way lean at low rev's.

The baffles come out by removing a security screw. The head of the screw has plenty of meat on it,so you should be able to get a good purchase on it with a pair of mole/vice grips.Leo Vince supply some spare screws in the box.
