they are well made with good power , remember that you can put a decibel killer in any can/system you wish..so I wouldnt let the nosie(yum) get in the way of your descision, I would look for light weight and good power gains over type and price.IMO ..you cant go wrong with Arrows, Akras, renegades, Tigs or leo vince.PSA-the dual akras come with baffles.
I had their titanium hi-level system on my old '98 bike. Sounded very nice without being excessively loud, even with the baffle removed. All fitted very well and made good power on the dyno.
I would have had another set on my newer bike if it wasn't for a set of Tigs coming up for a good price....
Thanks for the replies. I currently have the factory Titanium can which was on the bike when I bought it. If I replace it, I'm thinking it will be with a carbon fiber unit.:biggrin
The can on there now probably needs to be repacked as it is approaching 7 years and 9000 miles of age. What should that be repacked with, if it can be done?:dunno
Is your bike single or twin exhaust? You might want to do some checking, but I have read several threads on not using carbon fiber on single exhausts as they get holes blown in them. I don't have any personal experience with this but do yourself a favor and research it.
