Is there anyone with an 02 that has pillion footpegs fitted ( or to hand ) do me a favour and measure the length of them? Or if they're the same for previous models :dunno

Might be taking a pillion on the back at some stage but didn't get any pillion pegs with mine as it's got the twin Gianellis fitted. So i'm assuming that they wont fit on with these high level cans hence being removed.

If that's the case might have to source a standard can to sling on it just for the odd pillion moment but wanted to check first.

Cheers

ok matey..the rear pegs on my 02 measure as such:

Swing Pin Dia. = 8.0mm
Peg Boss width = 19.5mm
From CL (centreline) of swing pin to peg tip = 94.0mm
From CL to peg stop level shoulder = 13.5mm

hope that helps yer find yer booty matey
Cheers

Impressive measurements aus :devious

Looney i have twin pipes too and no rear pillion pegs but if you space them off the subframe it should give you enough clearance to scare passengers:thumbup

Thanks for the replies fellas.

Was a bit of wishful thinking on my behalf and the measurements confirmed if but if I can pick up a set of cheap hangers off fleabay and a standard can then
at least they're there if someones daft enough to want to perch their arse on the back :biggrin:eatcorn

Got a couple of boxes of various spares mate. I bought my bike from a mechanic who worked at Fowlers in Bristol. He was able to put a few bits and bobs to one side from time to time. As a neighbour you are always welcome to have a rummage through my small Alladins cave whenever you like. (oooh eer)! It's mainly sprockets, levers, mirrors, reservoirs, master cylinders etc. All free to a fellow Aprilia owner:thumbup Unless its a part that I need then you can:fire Get orf moi land:bigfinger
