Led taillights / indicators mod.

Hello. I am thinking of fitting one of the aftermarket led taillights with the intigrated indicators to my 52 plate mille. Has anyone fitted one of these units and have you experienced any problems / fitting, performance, reliability... ? There are many for sale on eBay.. Any help appreciated, regards Simon.

I had one on my 99 and it was a seriously easy fit, I would suggest you get some sort of male/female connectors for the wires as the will most likely come without. Im considering getting one myself if im honest.

Thanks for the replie. I do have a load of connectors so that shouldnt be a problem. I heard a few stories in the past about them not fitting the models stated when bought. Anybody had this trouble?

Theres a physical difference between the two, just make sure you select 01-03 and all will be fine

Well.. Ive fitted the unit and as anticipated, problems.....

Indicators do not flash now, only stay on constant. I am gathering that this is because of the LED's taking less current than the bulbs previously did. Anybody know how to sort this problem or what resistor I need to add and where?

new flasher unit and led one and the flasher unit is behind head fairing i got a two pin one off ebay not tried it yet
