led rear light..help please!

Greetings all,
I have bought a l.e.d. rear light for my 03 rsv..
It's supplied with wiring and a connector to the main loom and a blue and yellow wire, i'm assuming for the indicators..I have plumbed it all in and the indicator flash nicely however the leds are red in its static mode, which is fine but do not get brighter when applying the brakes??
I do have one blue, yellow and earth from the origional light unit that appear to have no where to go...
Any ideas??

Aright bud, basically forget about the indies for now. Just plug the unit into the loom and test the light on/off and see if it illuminte/deluminates. For the indies, You use one wire from each side, cant remember exactly which ones but your could a) trial and error it or b) wait till I get home and ill look at mine.

Someone might be able to tell you straight away but if not ill sort it for you later.

Nice one, your a star i've had a mess about with the wires..it was the earth wire that needed a different location..all fitted and looking ace..cheers again dude

Cool it'll be a few weeks but definitely getting one. Now I wonder if I convert to newer style mirrors with indicators if the will work together?

It can be done, yeah. I have a pair of later style mirrors with indicators integrated sat here, planning on fitting them soon. I'll do a wee write up and put some pictures up when I'm done.
