led indecators

help......:angry. i have just fitted a set of led indcators on my 2003 millie... have changed the relay unit. and thay all flash together:eek:. i have checked thw wireing over and over again... can i put led's on my bike...wot have i done wrong??? any help:thumbup
 
Because they share the same indicator light on the dash the circuits for both sides are linked.

An Led relay is non load dependant so it basically flashes anything it finds in the circuit, hence why both sides flash. You need to use something like Diodes in line to the dash for each indicator circuit so it isolates one side from the other or not use the dash light at all.
 
mount the old relay back, and then plug the old blinkers with the led on the same wires. Hide the old ones somewhere in the fairing or if you have some skills put them in the air intakes so that when they blink they light up your intake :) the old blinkers will use the power for the system to work with the LED as well flashing at the slow rate you want.
