leds are low wattage output. This may confuse the bike/cars electrical brain and it thinks theres a fault. You'll need to find out if the T has a cambus setup, and if so you'll. need resistors to fake the electrical state to make the bike accept the led bulb.......i might be talkin kaka poo poo like! =)

No can bus system on the Gen1 T.
Depends which sort of led tail lights you mean.You can simply swap the 12v 21/5w bulbs with l.e.d replacements,or,.....there is another type available that has the indicators built in.Its basically a pc board full of l.e.d's that fits into the Gen1 rear lens.
Ive fitted l.e.d stop/tail bulbs to several bikes and never had a problem.(Well apart from an old Triumph where the dodgy wiring and vibration destroyed it.)You dont need any resistors for them to work.I usually fit the 24 l.e.d bulbs,like these.........
