LED blinkers

I'm looking at purchasing the led rear tail light with indicators and wanted to change the side stalk blinkers to smaller led types.

I was wondering if I needed to change my relay and if there was a recommended one for the change or what all I would need to do for it to work.

I think you'd just need an electronic relay (search ebay for 'LED relay'), but not sure if the RSV relay is a bit different to most bike relays or not. I seem to remember somewhere in one of the headlight mods someone having to solder two diodes onto the end of a wire that comes off the relay, but can't remember why.

RSV relays are 10w instead of 21w, if you use any other type of indicators I think you will have to change the relay but they are as cheap as chips. The Oxford Nano are the best LED indicators, are brighter than a conventional 21w bulb & come with seperate resistors to give the correct flash rate. Bloody expensive though, got them fitted to one of my bikes & they are the dogs bollocks.

I got my relay from the Aprilia bike shop, guess there's plenty of demand for them.

I got nanos front and integrated rear and they work ok just using the resistors supplied with the nanos

Looks like they are flashing too fast, but if they pass the MOT, fair enough
