Havent my my RSV long....fecking barking it is.....like driving a 1 litre 350LC...i had to get that in....my professional opinion...
Anyway....not long after getting it i decided to embark on minimzing the styling a little by (as above) getting an integrated rear light, bit steep on the cost but worth it i though as the rear of the RSV4 is small anyway....Spent a couple of hours sorting it all out, mines a 59 plate so its coming up for mot next month, checked with the local bike shop and apparently last month VOSA changed the mot requirements - apparently your indicators have to be 240mm away from the rear light. Arse, and it looked so good too.
The requirement came in end of last month. The mechanic showed me the letter from VOSA. Even he said the arse end of the RSV with no indicators looked pretty trick as well....
Just thought id let everyone know as i sold my R&G tail tidy to finance this one and now have to go and buy another tail tidy....the tail tidy i bought has no indicator mounts to keep it small.
Not the end of the world for me as ill just fit all the standard stuff for the MOT and then change it back but i fear as the law filters through you might not be able to get away with it for too long. Although saying that if youve got a brand spanker or 3 years under i guess your ok.
