The breakers near me which has the aprilia dealers next door to it, (so alot of damaged stock from them goes to the breakers) has a akrapovic race can off a brand new bike (2009) which had twin cans the bike was dropped on one side and written off just on the way out the yard! Will this can fit my 2001 rsvr i will need i link pipe tho, the internal measurement of the can is 51.5mm the can is brand new and only want 100 quid?

no mate it wont , sayin that you could make it fit but you will need a modded link pipe , i tried this on to my 03 with a doner pipe from an 05 rsv it hang about right but was short when fitted on original hanger bracket ,

Pipe is smaller diameter on the later bikes (because there are 2 of them) think it would strangle an early single exhaust bike, is it a left hand or right hand pipe?
I've got a damaged lh pipe on my tuono could do with replacing it.

Im not sure what side it was i think the right but can't quite remember give them a ring the number is 01733 316742
