Thanks Allen for sending me his excellent job on his grills and air vents and pumping me up! heck yeah! now I got very sexy grills, I didn't have the material or the patience to make the rubber edges like you made so I just cut the scrap perforated Aluminum sheet which I had from another project and that I filed the pieces until they fit perfectly on my radiator like a honey tray in a Bee hive. lol. just don't lick it it sure doesn't taste good. :puke The bottom one needed three holes. I soon will use the chicken wire from my old filter and cover the two vent holes on my lower fairing and the ones on sides of my ECU. :pirate What kind of glue did you guys use? is it rubber cement? Would epoxy work? I get those quick epoxies for 99 cents for dirt cheap.. Checky out! :doug

wow thats different. prefer the wire mesh look but yours looks tops :) Maybe so heat yellow paint and paint them yellow. that would look cool :)

Top job weldone :)

Mesh is better.....they look like Bad Boys fence panels.....did you go to B&Q Garden supplys too?

I think the honeycomb would look a way better especially with the newer RSV design I just couldn't find that particularly on ebay. lol that material was so freaking expensive I used it on my Old Buell project. It's very thick and very workable! I agree about the mesh looking better which is lighter and looks good however tiny rocks get stuck in it and i didn't have any mesh.:p I just used scrap you know how I like to work with low budget ghetto tools/material. lol PS If you ever change your air filter do not discard the mesh on it! it has a really good mesh for your vents or maybe your hallowed out exhaust can for a "Free sound enhancer" or "anti Butter Finger/bug " . lol some jerk put a butter finger in my regulator vent! gotta cover that up like Sprocker did next time. I like the free mesh idea on the vents! I put the clutch back in with the free homemade gasket from roof material from my contractor buddy. :)
