Hi, newbie here. Just got my first rsv, an x plate gloss black. Pretty much std apart from the airbox has been removed and a pipercross style filter fitted(growls like hell!) Just wondered if you guys have any tips for things I should check/look out for that these beasts are common for(bit late for real bad things i know but had to have it!)

Welcome to the site mate, most things have been coverd many times so do a search on what you need if you cant find anything just post a question

Rear brake issues can be solved with correct bleeding and a few other tweaks....Mines an 04 so it may apply to the older models as well
 
Welcome to the forum Jimes, plenty of useful info on here, just use the search function.

If you can't find anything then just post a question and somebody will get back to you with an answer.

One tip I'd give is, make sure every things as tight as it should be, these bikes seems to vibrate nuts and bolts off like there's no tomorrow.

Your bike is black so it is the fastest one. No mods needed...

Yo Amb... ThreadLock works a treat on mine. And Gaffa tape...
