Hi all
I just bought my first Aprillia RSV Mille on an 02 plate. I did have a Suzuki GSXR 750 K1 with yoshi RS3 can on it and loved it.....until i heard the sound of an RSV starting next to me at Oulton Park recently....hence the gixxers gone and my new journey begins :)
Anyone got some tips for me, i'm after a real good exhaust on it first of all.
is there anywhere thats great for good parts etc...
cheers.. :thumbup

Hi Matey

First off all, ENJOY!! :thumbup

Its a passionate relationship you will have with the Mille, and sometimes its the passion that gets you through the bad days.........

But there are so many guys here, so many threads, if it cant be fixed on here then it cant be fixed.

ENJOY............you wont regret having it mate :thumbup

Cheers Pete

Check out ebay item no: 150364896315
I've just fitted a full Akra system to my 06 factory, previously had Akra Ti cans on, much smoother, sounds the dogs, no brainer - full system every time.:thumbup

Hi, when you say 'full system every time', i was told that the bolt on can is good enough, is this not the case? what do you think
cheers mike

A CB 500 is good enough to get from A - B !!!!!!!!!!!:puke
A bolt on can is good, full system is better, I paid £420 for full system, stainless headers, twin full Ti cans, carbon hangers, straps. Twin Ti cans second hand for same bike go for £400+!!!!!!!!!
Most people are scared of fitting full systems - I'm no mechanic, prob took me 3hrs to fit compared to 15 mins for end can only! Results with full system make it worthwhile, the workmanship compared to standard full system is night and day different!
Full system is best!:bigok

Welcome to the zone mate hope you have good safe fun on the ape i got bolt on can and it sounds fab mate

Congrats on the your new RSV!!! I have just completed my research for my Factory RSV and I would have to say that MIVV-GP (Carbon and Ti), Racetone and Galassetti are the very best looking and sounding exhaust that money can buy. I have just made my selection for my new project and I have chosen the MIVV-GP Ti. I think that weight, sound and looks are second to none. Racetone is also great looking but it does not have the "junkyard dog" sound of the MIVV's, nor does it have the looks. Galassetti may have the best weld-work I have ever seen and amazing sound, but tend to be a bit on the long side and lose that GP look. I reside in CT. USA,(orginaly from Spain) so If you wantlinks on the best deals on everything from frame sliders to MIVV exhaust here in the USA, get back to me and I will send you the links. Here is a pic of my lates project bike fresh out of the create.

I'd have to agree with the MiVV GP, looks and sounds fantastic - although I've only had my bike 3 weeks so I've not had any experience of anything else!
