Hi all; I've just signed up, no Tuono yet but I think I've just seen the one I want ('03 bronze £3,300 11,000 miles) It said 98hp on the sticker but I'm guessing that's just a typo. I also have a Hayabusa. I'm looking forward to picking your brains and just having a chat, cheers and bye for now.

I have on 03 bronze / grey for sale, it's got all the right bits on it, but more miles at 21K
Same money.

Thanks Ash; I can't fault this one (apart from the back brake, which he says he'll fix) It's a U.K. bike so I don't know why it's advertised as 98bhp. Are there any other problems I should be looking for?

Back brake that hibernates, black clutch fluid, stiff clutch action, find out what gearing it's running (best on 16/44 or 16/43), tired steering damper (not repairable), dry suspension bushes, exhaust, starter solenoid, battery, finding neutral, nothing that's not do-able, a bike that when on song will give you a huge grin.
98 bhp is definately not UK spec. Have a look back through the forum and you'll find loads of spec / info details.

Have a look on www.tuonoworld.com there is a section on there that will give you all the info you require.
There are a couple of photo's of my ride on there as well.

welcome to the forum. It has more than 98 bhp, unless its an import, but if they assure you its a UK bike, they must be making a mistake

Thanks for all that guys; I think that if the log book says "Declared new on [DATE]" then it's a U.K. bike? The dealer thought the power was wrong but "that's what it gives on ebay" (I think he said ebay, he may have meant Google) I'm near Preston so I'll probably see you up at Rivington Barn, I currently go on my Busa.

Its 120 as standard I think.
Welcome Frank.
Only some back brakes are *****. Mines fine on mine.

Enjoy frank had mine a couple of months and hated it for the first week or so
Now I carnt think of a better bike I have ever riden
Love it..good luck

No; although I looked at a couple, I ended up buying the first one I saw. We pick it up on Monday.
