Aint been on the bike for a while as i got a ruddy great nail in my 2 month old pilot road 2 so when i went to turn her over there was hardly anything left in her. Anyway can anyone tell me if its ok to jump start an RSV via a car? and is it cool to earth it to the rear paddock stand pegs?

I had to jump mine last month due to knackered battery . It did the trick but probably not recommended for long periods . Not sure about the extra earthing.

Don't keep grinding it over if it doesn't start that's what knackers the sprag clutch and apes are well known for it.

Be bloody careful you don't spike the ECU , did a RSV awhile back that had being jumped of a car battery & had fryed just about everthing in the computer . Many still jump bikes of cars etc without trouble luck of the draw I guess >
