A geet big bank is required and definitely no 1st gear. 2nd but probably 3rd is a safer option

Like has been said highish gear or the wheel will just lock up.

Bump start, you got no chance :eatcorn I'm 17 stone & my house is half way up a steep hill, even in third gear it locks the back wheel.

Jump start mate not bump start off the car.
Well I did it and it did turn over but wouldn't fire I think I'll change the plugs as well as new battery.

The key is to jump start without the car running so as not to send a surge through the bike and fry the electrics (apparently)

no all 12v unless its a lorry then 24v

Secret is guys, before connecting up switch on bike lights this way it also helps draw power to save spiking ecm, even with lights on car battery will still power over the big v twin no probs.
