Ages ago i had a leather Wolf jacket that was great as it had perforated areas on the chest so that in summer you dont cook so much. Anyway after a friend had an off i am thinking of going back to leather from textile. Are there any jackets out there similarly designed to keep you a bit cooler in the summer?

...unless you're planning to move down to the Med I wouldn't get too hung upon it.

On average, we have about 30 'hot' days per year in the UK.....the other 335 days are usually cool, cold or absolutelyfucking freezing...

Strangely enough, my trusty old textile Wolf jacket was getting a little tatty, so I thought I'd traet myself to another, however the new Wolf stuff is just total crap...so I too went the leather route...bought myself a plain breathable black jacket and matching keks...I used 'em in the French alps in June...it was fooking hot...they were brilliant...
I wore some of those long johns under, that wicks away the sweat...but keeps you toasty on the cooler days...

I Just ordered a set of belstaff leathers off eBay and they're brilliant apart from Zip coming undone due to me belly. Nothing the mothering outlaw can't fix though.

Have a look at some if the belstaff stuff pikey. Awesome kit at reasonable prices on eBay. I've never found my leathers too warm on a hit day and they're black. In the winter some some cold killer stuff and sorted also.

Loads of good stuff on Ebay if yer patient.Lost a load of weight,so all my bike gear is too big.I've been looking for gear in skinny size for a while, and I won a nice Alpinestars leather jacket for £61.It arrived today and there's not a mark on it,...its just like new.Dead chuffed.

Yep, bought all my current bike gear (leathers and textiles) on ebay, all about 1/3 of retail price and all as new, hard to see that any of it had been worn. Obviously there is tat on there too, but if you take your time and only bid on the good stuff you can get some proper bargains.

Pikemon,
I've bought some gear recently from Motoin at about 70% the price in Australia and flat rate shipping.
They're in Chermany so don't mention the you-know -what.
Or do you lads have to pay enormous duty on everything coming into the country?

Is that fc moto you're on about mate? I've had a look at that site and it is cheaper. My neighbour ordered stuff though and took an age to turn up apparently but it did eventually. Very much cheaper than over here and no duty on top. I'd use them though. Want a pair if daytonna boots next an they're well cheaper

Bay,

I have heard of some orders taking a while to arrive, in my case it was around 14 days.
Have just ordered a pair of pants today so we'll see how we go.
Cheers
