Drove to Sheffield this morning and met the bike transport guy who brought my bike up from Middlesex. Nice bloke and I would recommend his services.

Got it back up the road in the van and unloaded it to see exactly what Ive bought.

So it needs a spragg and seems to have been kept outside judging from the corrosion on some parts. Its had a low speed drop so repairs to the LHS which can be my winter project.

A big thank you to Mark (Tash) who dropped my parts off today.

Cleared my garage out to make space for it as its currently siting in my neighbours garage.

Tomorrow is spanner day, get it started, some insurance and hopefully tax and a sping round the block!

Pics to follow.

Nice one Andy,

Good to meet you and talk mate, make sure you have a good look at them forks mate. I had a quick look on ebay and there was a upper leg for £24 inc delivery, might be worth a look. Give me a bell if there is anything I can do mate.

Cheers
Mark

Mark, Ive posted a Q about Locktite, any ideas where I can get some from for tomorrow?

I, going to have a look for the fork legs on Ebay now.

Try the motor spares place in Shiny Row just off the roundabout, failing that I think it would have to be Halfords.

I dont think Kevin stocks it but Ill give him a shout first then off to Halfords it is!

Cheers.

I am now, I got it started! Whoo! but not after a few trials abd tribulations. Im going to stick a post up as its worthwhile infomation.

Wanna donate me your rear tyre? Mine appears to have eat itself lmao! I'm glad it's coming together matey, good times.

lol looks like I'm gonna be needing it myself now!

I need a tool kit or at least a lend of the skinny spark plug spanner to get the plugs changed.

I can see this costing me an arm and a leg once I get started. Im pleased I got it cheap enough.

Mate, mine is work in progress, but was mostly mechanically decent.... I quite enjoy a teent bit of spannering too - it makes it more "mine". ;)

Now its running Im gonna tax & insure it but want to get the forks donw ASAP. They have corroded quite badly as Tash saw for himself the other day.
