Interesting test ride. Vendor in Alfa showed me the way. Opened up the bike and went past at 128 mph (according to him) and nowhere near the limit, not top gear though coz its got a Mille OE front sprocket = too tall, needs dropping, Falco had lower gearing as standard. Handles superb, mucho composed, more sit in than on. The gearbox is the sweetest I've had for years, notably more slick than my old Tuono. I love it. Roomy like an old style sports bike. Two grand? Are yew shore......

It feels good to be back atop an RSV lump. :bigsmile

Cheers Spud.

Anyone know anything about the 02 front end? Are they Marzocchi? Cartridge type / cart emulator? Mine are a tad spongey when you really push, hopefully adjustment will deal with that. Also any tail tidy recommendations? :)

Can you edit a post that isnt your most recent? I see I've been repeating myself :cuckoo in my excitement.........

Ive got a 51 plate,& it came with a RSVR.net tailtidy that looks good,I know thay have stoped tradeing ,but I think Nick is now selling stuff on ebay,if you look up 54mm throttle bodies ,I think thats him,any way bought my Falco wth 10k on the clock with a knackered sprag for £1100!!!,Had a spare motor at home so,change the sprag & a early mille sach shock for £50 & it's awsome.
The front forks on these are showa's,they can be upgraded to work aswell as ohlins but it will cost you .

129 at the wheel is one extremely healthy Falco! Looking very nice saintnick, a friend of mine had one a few years ago and I couldn't agree more on the gearing, vicious bugger it was low down :D

Cheers chaps for that. Its running standard 16/41, needs 15/41. I'm amazed by the bike, the one issue is a few corroded nuts, bolts and fasteners. Soon sort that. :)

There isnt a Falco section on the board, I get the impression we're a rare breed lol.

looks wicked dude!!
