Hi Everyone,
Planning a trip across France to Italy on the Tuono, over the Alps and down the Italian Coast.
Any tips / routes / places of interest / spectacular roads / campsites / cheap hotels etc. would be greatly appreciated!
Rob

Half your bloody luck mate........

I wish I was going with you. Have fun, ride safe.

I toured the amalfi coast july last year, i have a book with hotels and B&B`s in that was useful, are you travelling that far down?

Thanks mate, not sure if we are going that far down, but may have to in search of good weather - are you prepared to loan me the book?

yeah can loan it or give you the title, i think it was only a fiver, i will find it out

Toured Tuscany last September absolutely fantastic roads, if you can get to Siena area and base yourself there for a few days so you can offload your luggage the roads all around that part are awesome. Did not book any Hotels in advance and had no problem getting rooms may be harder if in peak season. If you like medieval cities you will love that area.

Hey mate..

Heard alot about the Stelvio pass which is just north of Bormio, close to the Swiss border.
There's about 60 hairpinturns ahead of you... ;) google it, and see for yourself..

Else.. i'm pretty sure the Tuono will quite at home.. ;)

Thanks RCEE, we are looking to base ourselves in Tuscany as the roads appear to be excellent around there, Sienna I believe is South Tuscany, so we will check it out.
Can't wait to show the Duke, Kwacker and Blade a clean pair of heels on the twisties!
