Power wheelie or slipping the clutch it happens....as the front comes up i get a juddering which sounds like it comes from the engine, today i wheelied through the judder and once i'd got the wheel up a decent amount the judder disappeared.it seems to happen when the wheel is only maybe 1ft off the ground.I thought it may have been oil starvation so have checked my level and that was all cool..........Any ideas please...

Sounds like you could have a clutch slip issue mate, might be a good idea to get the plates and springs out and get measuring, they could be on the limits or even below. :thumbup

sounds like the clutch judering..

It did cross my mind (clutch),so I nailed the throttle through the gears and there is no slipping at all...but whats the cause of the clutch to judder like that ????
Don't mean to sound ignorant but I mainly just ride the things and I'm not at all technical..............

So you can't replicate the slip/judder if you nail it?

Not that then is it?

What about your tilt sensor, wonder if that's flapping around or perhaps on the fritz?

Have you done a hand and eye check on the bike to make sure there are no loose or chafed wires, corroded connectors etc....?

i got a strange banging noise from my bike when i hit it with a sledgehammer dont know why though:eatcorn

Do you use your clutch to bring the bike up or just roll the throttle on in 2nd & 3rd gear ?? If you are clutching it you may be loading the clutch up abit much & have stressed the plates / metal's by either cracking a fibre or warpping a metal or even a broken a spring . Mine broke the pressure plate from drag racing it & launching to hard off the line
