Its not off a Gen2.
Looks like the standard Sach shock to me.Pretty sure the Gen2 uses a slightly longer shock than the Gen1.No remote gas can either.

Not off a Tuono possible RSV
Gen1 and RSV Mille use the same shock.

This one doesn't have the black adjuster at the top I think it might be gen2 rsv shock

Well if it is from an RSVR it should be fine as long as you have Gen2 link plates.Pretty sure it would be obvious if it aint,...

whatever its off it needs a good fookin clean :lol
the V4 uses a sachs with res :dunno

Some of the later bikes used the screw adjuster,...just to confuse matters.The only way to tell for sure is take the shock out and measure it.
According to the manuals;
Gen1-323mm
Gen2-313mm
That is measured centre to centre of the fixing eyes.

Thanks I will measure it and have a look at the dogbone bearings aswell.
The whole bike needs a good clean just got it two weeks ago and haven't even really ridden it yet. It needs some tlc but it will be fine in the end.
