Is the Tuono uncomfortabel for riders over 6 feet tall?

Hello, I'm seriously considering purchasing the Tuouo 2014 ABS and was wondering if the bike is too small for me. I m 6 feet tall and sat on it in the bike show, it felt fine but when I looked at pictures of me on it, it seemed a bit small. My concern is that I'm coming off of an R1 and would like to take longer rides and not feel tight like I did on the R1.

I would really appreciate any advise from riders whom have taken this bike for longer rides meaning 4-5 hour trips.

Hi Niro,

I'm not over 6ft, but 5'11 and 18 1/2 stone. (powerlifter)

My last bike was an R1 and I too was getting far to cramped on it. The Tv4 fits like a glove. there is MUCH more room on it than the R1.

Although the Tv4 is not a big bike a combination of the low tank and wide bars makes it feel roomy compared to the R1.

Do it, you won't regret it.

Hey, I just bought a new 2014 bike and I'm 6`5 and 15 sine. The bike is massively comfortable and recently I did a 190 mile round trip to Bristol and it was no problem. I had a yzf125 before and that hurt my wrists after 20 mins, not so on the Tuono. Also just to seal the deal, buy today's mcn, the tuono wins the group test against the ktm duke and triumph. I love my bike, it's truly amazing. Get one short *** :)

I'm 6 ft, and way over the hill, but find the Tuono V4 way more comfy than I thought it would be. (Italian ergs are not ALWAYS deficient)

But, make no mistake, it's built for speed, dude. If you want comfort, get a bagger.

Thing is, you get to your destination so quick, you don't have time to feel anything other than adrenaline rush. I'm serious.

Around NYC on hot days in traffic Tv4 mill does throw a LOT of heat, and you'll be watching that thermometer creep scary high if you are stuck on say, the GWB (lol).

Any reputable dealer should be able to give you a test ride. Try it. Any bike feels OK at a show, imo

good luck.

hi

6'8, 16 stone so lanky bugger, been to Assen twice loaded with luggage, and rode to Germany and back, no worries, although a gel seat wouldn't go a miss

Thanks, I will order mine this weekend.

You wont regret it.

For the record I am 6ft and did 225 miles Sunday on my 2014 ABS T no probs, in fact I could have quite happily done a lot more. I am thru with Race Reps nowdays nakeds (esp Tuono V4Rs) are where the funs at.

Good luck
Rob

6Ft, 82Kg, 53yo, Not as comfortable as my Speedtriple, but no where near as uncomfortable as I had been lead to believe.

Nice one mucker. :thumbup

I'm 6'2" with 34" leg (jeans leg length). I fit on my 2014 T with no problems, however I do find the pegs a little cramped. I can ride for a good hour or so but will start to cramp after a while.

I could get some adjustable rearsets but it aint that bad. Having too much fun to care.

For more leg room you can get the pegs that lower your feet by an inch. Works wonders for comfort.
