been offered a deal for my 61 plate with 9000 mls for 14 pate with 500 mls they want £4000 is the difference worth that much ,also will the bits off my bike, can, tale tidy ect fit the 14

is the deal for your bike with none of your good bits on it?
even then the arent offering you a bargain
cash price in a dealer is 11k and a bit for brand new.
not some ex demo thats been through who knows what.
you will be second owner and that drops its value.no not value ,price
from what you posted they are offering to let you buy a second hand bike from them for new bike money.
walk away

The new Tuono is £12.5k new (before you start negotiating), not £11k. But agreed, they are asking a lot. From what I have read, there isn't enough difference unless ABS is top of your wish list... in which case you could get it fitted to your bike for about £1k.

dealer offered cash is over £1000 less than the 12.5 you quote .
admittedly if you go in with a trade in barge and want finance its way more,
i was suggesting cash price money in hand etc.
12.5k is the rich fools price

Wrong time of year to buy mate. You'll get deals again in the Winter. £11k is still quite ambitious for a new 2014 bike in my opinion, but I suppose you never know. You could pick up the end of the 2013 bikes for between £10-£11k at the end of last year (I got one for £10k), but that was to sell those off to make way for the new ones.

I paid 11,300 for my 14 ABS but that was 6 months ago so it might be a bit harder to get a deal now the sun is out ....

Wheels International took twenty bikes in and sold them off at £10,995 and quoted me £11,600 on the road with a carbon akra, time I sold one of my bikes to buy cash they had sold out and now want £12,000 just for the bike so still searching for a good deal but need a bike by September, if I can't get a deal on a v4r abs it will be a s1kr sport.

Had a look at the S1000r yesterday, lovely bike I even like the weird lights. Just need to win the lottery now

thanks for the advice , have tried a few dealers most want silly money to change none where much under £1200 cash, the one im thinking of is not three months old yet i can keep all the bits off my bike which would cost about £1200 to replace.what do those who have the 14 think. cheers buntsb

well decided to go for 14 model delivered yesterday 450 mls on clock, put all my bits on then went for quick 100 mls goes well, pretty much like the last one,bit smoother not so ratterly, seat seams a bit higher, im happy, cheers buntsb
