kia ora all
just thought I'd try this out...not been a blogger so be interested to see.

Riding since Oct a new 2015 Caponord and just clocked 5,500kms and read all the blogs on tyres. My rear qualifier definitely out of juice worn to the edge and now also starting to square up with some 2up and operating like a slick but have enjoyed its stickyness. Front is passable however will be due mid summer so decided to go fresh on both. Debated and opted for the summer on rear Angel 190/50 which with planned events will see me through until winter i expect, then some Michellin PR 4's. Had these on previous bike and liked however figure I'd try something else to broaden.

Happy Kiwi Xmas and Cheers from Aus

G'day Kiwicapo, let us know how the 190/50 profile feels (I think it would feel the same as the OEM 180/55 Qualy.....) and when next in line for tyres, you can go for the 190/55 PR4 as they suit the bike (should have been OEM in that size and profile) and you won't scrape the centre stand unless you hit a dip on the apex while in Auto ADD... (maybe you like the 'bragging rights' no chicken strips on the rear tyre gives when bench racing at the pub...... )

Drop in on the 2014-2016 forum for all the latest from Capo-nuts around the world
