integral indicator problem, help!!

what a night, went to put my new tinted screen on, doesnt fit, went to put my tinted headlight protector on, doesnt fit, even though its registered 2001 im thinking its the 2000 model, new to this millie lark!!! so i thought ide put my new integral indicators/tail/stop light on as the dealer said it just plugged in!! lying t**t! anyone fitted these before and can give me a pointer, dont want to go for a wee case thats stopped working too!!!!!!

As you have probably worked out yours is a 2000 model and not the 2001. Mine is the same 2001 reg and 2000 model.

Surely the dealer should have recognised what year it is? If not the best plan of action is to take the bits back without trying to fit them and therefore undamaged and get the dealer to order the right bits for your bike.

just out of interest mate are the light and indicator set LED ? if so i assume you got the inline regulator relay type thingy with the kit ? if not that could be ya problem, it sorts the flash rate out between bulbs and LED, if its not there it wont work fella :thumbup:thumbup

got it sorted now thanks fellas, just took a bit of working out, wheres the fun if it had just plugged in!! looks great as well, cleans the back up without the indicators. iv sent the screen back now so hopefully have the correct one this week now i know its a 2000 model, thanks again
