im looking for quotes at the mo,

im 27, 2 years no claims. 2 years riding experience. on rsv mille 2003.

after fully comp.

anyone advise a good insurer

best ive got so far is 435 worst is 900

Try ebikeinsurance on line. they are the nuts, all online based, and you can play about putting in all your mods and see how it alters the premium, without committing or telling a real person. didn't cost me anything for the akcros. good for multi bike policies as well.:thumbup

Try H&R mate,

They always seem to come good for me,

2002 RSV
Datatool alarm
6 NCB
garaged
7 years riding
£214 fully comp :biggrin

Cheers,

Ritch

And i've just insured mine with Bikesure,1 of the cheapest quotes not the cheapest I had,but the thing that made me go for them was the fact that I can ride any other bike fully comp there is only £300 excess on the policy, personal accident cover and legal cover
The cheapest I had was £145 and a £750 excess with Bennetts and the one with bikesure was £153 with only £300 excess

Hi bud,

I think £435 is about the best you will get.I am also 27 with 2 years no claims and 4 years riding and after much shopping about I couldn't beat that!!!!!!

Play one off against the other.

I got Bennetts to drop £70 to better Ebike.
Bennetts seem to react to an Ebike qoute especially so they must be a thorn in their side i guess.

Generally the guy told me they will try and better any qoute from a reputable insurer so get the cheapest and say beat it. Nothing to lose

Bike Team was the best for me - 0844 800 8354

£235 fully comp, 29 years old & 3 years no claims although i do live in a low risk post code.

I found Ebike cheapest as it included breakdown cover and I had a £40 voucher (which they told me I could send on to others if anyone interested). Only problem was they had some tech probs with the evoucher at the time and I was sorting insurance at the last mo, as you do, so went down the Bikeinsurer route. Ended up with a cheaper quote than Ebike (Hastings)but no breakdown cover.

PM me your email address if you want me to forward the voucher.

I`m in the process of changing insurance companies myself and so far e bike are far and away cheaper for me (at the tender age of 36 in a low risk area) and the £40 e voucher thing has definately swung it for them.
Will have a look at some of the other suggestions too.
Cheers:thumbup
