Right im with Bennetts at the moment and im paying £84 per year including protected no claims as I have 8 year :)

My renewal has come in at £125:eek: I would in insurance admin so know that most premiums have gone up so my question is

Any good companies around that you would recommend to be a fair priced

I was with bennetts last year, but had to change to H&R after bennetts came through at £540 fully comp for a year???

Might have been a saviour anyway me changing, as i have been told that bennetts wouldn't have let me have the option to buy my bike back after the accident.

yep h and r where good for me too ,but i change every year as they always try to sting ya second time around .....

based on some solid advice I just got a quote from ebike for "Frankie", £222-00 with all mods declared - bloody ace :thumbup

Shame my existing insurance doesn't run out till march :jack

Posted the following in July - not sure if it still applies but worht a look...

just taken out insurance slightly ahead of renewal date to take advantage... accessed quote thru thebikeinsurer.com and the best price was with Motorcycle Direct on a Groupama policy at £125.90 (no excess, european cover, protected NCB, cover for riding other peoples bikes etc.)

Warning system doesnt want to take payment on line and when I first got thru on the phone they tried to claim the quote was an error as its 1/2 the price of the next cheapest quote.

However a little persistence and they've processed the application.

poxy insurance companys i can tell ya not to bother with ..A QUOTE :angry if that helps , when i get my story straight i`ll put it up on site :rant

I did the auto trader insurance search and the last 2 year's I've been with Direct Choice, £115 for the year. Nice post code help's though!!

I'm up for renewal this month too. I'm with Carole Nash and they've quoted about £540, fully comp!!!

I'm sure they've got some details wrong? Should give them a buzz :roll

I need to re insure the SV1000s & the Mille on the same policy this time, Carole Nash want £333 cash or around £380 d/d

Tried ebike £220 cash /£280 ish d/d ....getting better

Gonna do a bit more shopping around, defo not going to that aquote lot tho' makes you wonder what good they'd be if you had to claim doesn't it?

Would have thought it should be cheaper as only one bike will be at risk from accident damage at any given time.

I paid £122 fully comp in April. Did a search through Tescocompare.com search engine. Policy is with Motor Cycle Direct.
I have 4 x discount cards from Motor Cycle Direct offering £25 off their policy, but you have to ring for a quote. I will send them off to anyone who wants one. Just PM me your details. Must be worth a phone call.

what does that discount thing do then buddy, got until Oct 2nd to sort my insurance out :)
