i used h and r once no probs but never had to test em . looks like thats the one eh ;-)

likewise with me got it though mce insurance third party fire theft 232 quid :) a right steal paid in full just incase they made a mistake !!!!

TBH, with no NCD and riding a Mille, what did you expect. :D Mind you, those FC quotes must be more than you paid for the bike :T

I have no idea how much the RSV is going to cost me, it was about £150 extra to change bikes from a ZX-6R to it, but I've not had it long enough to have to insure it as itself.

I paid £500 TPFT with £500 excess for my first ZX-6R, which was a quarter of what I paid for it. Then I crashed it six months later. Whoops.

Just a heads up, I’m through H&R insurance and renewed it last week, received a form to complete before they send me the insurance documents stating that if go over the 6,000 miles in the 12month term my insurance would be invalid  You had to fill in the bikes current mileage on the form so they can check up :jack

I was with H&R for years. Then I got my
rsv factory and they wanted £450 fully comp. I'm getting old , married with two kids and have 5 years no claims and live in a quiet area.

I ended up going with performance direct. I got fully comp for £320. :thumbup

What would happen if your battery went flat and the odo reset! It wouldn't be invalid then.:devious

I thought £209 was dear for a mille and ZX9R both fully comp on one insurance.
But I am an old one with 15yrs no claims they didn't count the 2 thefts in one go against me.

I'm with motorcycle direct for tpft I pay wait for it... A grand total of £88 I did have to check several times that I had heard them right.:):)

i pay 360 i think but only tpft, not bad with 2 years no claims (girlfriends fault) and 23 yrs old! lol i remember when i had my cbr600rr i was 18 and my 1st years premium was 1200 quid but the next year the *******s sent me a renewal for......£7500!!! lol

I'm now with H&R, 05 RSVR fully comp with £300 excess and no alarm - grand total £126. The one advantage of being 40!

I would still rather pay £500 and be 25 again

H&R are great for new riders. Sorted me out for the first few years. Just be very careful of bennetts, very dodgy no matter how cheap they might seem.

H&R was my insurer when I started, noone came close on price. now i've been riding for many years, H&R are not so good for me. about £100 more than my current insurer

340 fully comp (10 years NCD)with the policy shop,(unlimited miles) told them all about the carbon, nae probs when some old duffer knocked me off recently.
Ck
