I might be getting a V4 Tuono soon - but I can't get insurance quoted at under 3.5k!

Any advice appreciated? :down:down:down

Give us a clue,....age,location,ncb,points,etc.
I guess you have tried the comparison websites,....specialist companies like,Carol Nash,MCE,Bikesure,Bennetts, etc?

51 :-( Herts/Bucks border. Max no claims. No points.

yes. Already insured with CNash on v2 Tuono but they won't include the v4!

It'd be good to know who other V4T owners use ? (PLEEEASE)

Just continued with Carole Nash ... cost me another £140 or so to cover the remaining 8-9 months on top of the original cost for my V2 Factory, of around £240 or so. Can't remember the exact costs. I'm 50, Wilts, max NCB, had a licence since '78.
It was all about the price that I was expecting, possibly slightly higher. This is for the APRC.
They wouldn't quote if I stated the Akra added to the cost to take it to over £12,000, as long as it stayed below £12k all was fine.

Turn it into a track bike :)

You laugh (or maybe not) but there was a guy at Donno last Thursday who was on a Desmocedici in novices

I just ran a quote through Bennets and it came back with £538 fully comp, £600 excess ... after market cans, garaged, alarmed, padlocked ... 9 years NCD, 49 year old rider with occasional pillion, 3,000 miles a year.

Soooo slightly more than double what I pay now for a 2006 T ... hmm?

Cheers. CNash won't do it 'cos I have no garage. Although garden is secure.
Ah,'secure garden' does not compute for insurance companies.
Have you got anywhere to put up one of those specific concrete motorcycle garages?

Just out of curiosity, how do you make a garden secure without buiding a roof over it making it a garage ?

7ft high - (very thick) walls all sides with 7' high, heavy, triple bolted, alarmed oak gate. And I work from home. But - I think I've found a neighbour with an unused garage :)
